This newly-opened museum is named for Long Island native Michael P Murphy, whose heroism earned him the Medal of Honor and inspired the 2013 film Lone Survivor. Visitors to the museum will have a unique opportunity to learn about the fascinating history of the elite force known as the Navy SEALs.
