2022 in Review at The Garden City Hotel

After ringing in the New Year, we spent much of January pampering ourselves at Red Hots Spa and savoring the delicious culinary creations of Chef David Burke at Red Salt Room and King Bar. In February, we welcomed lovers for an intimate Valentine’s Day celebration, and from March to April, as the first buds began to bloom, we strolled along Seventh Street and Franklin Avenue, browsing the many unique shops and cafés and welcoming spring to our quaint village. In June, we joined thousands of visitors from across the globe to cheer on the 154th Belmont Stakes, and every weekend throughout summer, we revealed in themed Friday Night Promenades through Garden City. Sultry evenings exploring the boardwalk at Jones Beach State Park eventually gave way to crisp autumn afternoons, with museums, concerts, movies, plays, wine tastings, art exhibits, and all manner of entertainment indoors and out, leading into the rush of the holiday season, with the breathtaking Magic of Lights Drive-Thru Show, Posey Dance Company’s The Nutcracker, visits from Old Saint Nick, and lots and lots of Yuletide cheer.
